While we’re not opposed to luxuriousness in the least, sometimes we like our design clean and simple, like the brand-new Inventory Ceramics collection. The famous online store, which features a highly exclusive array of (expensive) items, has now enriched its selection to include homewares, debuting this feature with a new line of beautiful ceramics, designed by Shino Takeda. All items are entirely handcrafted and “there are some irregularities from item to item, making each piece unique”. They are made in the USA and featuring red clay, ash, milky pink and turquoise as colors and materials. Each item comes in a highly limited selection of ten units. Prices are $65 for the planter, $45 for the small cup and $50 for the small bowl. Each piece is hand-signed and numbered by the designer and, as the images suggest, each piece is highly versatile, up for a significant number of different uses.
