A brilliant rides fanatic with a lot of time on their hands actually went through the effort of creating a 1:1 Evanta Aston Martin DBR1 scale model. The historic car is the winner of the 1959 edition of the LeMans circuit, and in this variant it stands patiently on a parts tree, just like the toy cars we all remember from our childhood. Only a single unit of this model will be produced and it will be sold in an auction at the Goodwood Revival event. Prices are expected to range between $31,286 and $46,929. The winning bidder will also receive four 16” wire wheels on Dunlop race tires, a Mota Lita 15” steering wheel, upholstered race seats, machined aluminum gear knob and lever, and a satin black finished dash with Smiths gauges. However, the real boon, aside from the kit itself, is the replica of the Le Mans trophy, which comes accompanied by a cap signed by the winners of the 1959 victory, Caroll Shelby.
