Colorful Barcelona Condo Is All about (Small) Size

This lovely colorful apartment we found on online mag MiCasa just goes to show that it doesn’t have to be big to be beautiful. We’re talking homes, of course. And what better way to illustrate this, early in spring as it is, than with a trip down to one of the most colorful and happy-looking apartments we’ve seen in recent times, found in lovely Spanish city Barcelona. It may be small, but every square inch of space confined between its four walls was put to good use, and sprinkled with lively décor and furnishing details. We especially love the weathered leather orange armchair in the living room reading corner, but we’re also nuts about the matching ottoman.

Of course, those are not the only remarkable things inside this lovely home. Take a look at the rough-and-tumble, yet highly effective coffee table on wheels, the suspended bed, small yet cozy and at the simple, but practical bookshelf in white, acting as separator between the open plan dining area and kitchen. The whole cheerful, leisurely vibe, is completed by the top quality light toned hardwood flooring, the exposed faux brickwork on the walls and the visible wooden girders on the ceiling. It’s all about feeling right at home and relaxing in this apartment, from the very instant you set foot through the door.
