The 2012 London Olympics have inspired many an amazing installation, and the Coca-Cola Beatbox by Pernilla & Asif is one of them. The architects teamed up to produce a structure made of two hundred red and white rectangular air cushions. Within the structure there is a shielded space for music, technology and sports, which visitors are able to freely interact with. As they go all the way to the top of the building, they get the opportunity to remix a track especially created for the occasion by DJs Mark Ronson and Katy B. What is more, they can alter all the coordinates of this unique space, by playing with the lighting and playing sound samples of actual athletes’ heartbeats, the sound of sneakers on hardwood and many more. Visitors can also admire the surrounding park, as they take the 200 meter trip to the top terrace.
